Friendslocking would be so good. So many convoluted blog setups on here are just attempts to partially recreate friendslocking, and they all get subverted by using the app instead of a browser or doing the /dashboard/blog/ “right third of the browser window” thing anyway…

so this depends a lot on yr personal circumstances and mine are quite unusual. i’d say though the most important thing is to find other ppl who also want to farm and Get With Them and then find a property to rent (im… just gonna assume 99.999% of ppl on here are renting because The Economy [laughter]) you often can find properties with farm stuff already on ‘em by looking at the farming craigslist in your area or uhhh local facebook groups! what type of place you look for will also depend on where you live, where you WANNA live, what kinda farming u wanna do, etc. one of the reasons we chose this place was bc i knew i wanted goats and there was already a goat-house-potential building to house them in and lots of fencing and browse. if you want a garden, or chickens, or whatever, that will change what type of property you want and where you look for it. laws regarding where you can be within city limits, whether you can keep certain animals, how much acreage you have to have for any given type of animal, etc, vary WIDELY from place to place. so thats a good thing to look into first, once you find some ppl who wanna do it with ya. thats where i’d recommend starting. u also can sometimes find WORK on farms before u like. invest in actually trying it yourself craigslist can be a good place to find that as well as facebook like i said theres a lot of farm ppl who like to mentor people also! just look around for stuff in your area! crap farm
